During
the second half of august and first days of September sooo many things
happened. First there was an exchange with Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine
about ecology and then on 1 September short volunteers arrived. We prepared a
program for the first four days of their stay here – political simulation,
cultural day with dances and music, sports day and refugee day. I hoped I would
learn how to make a chacapuri but it still remains a secret.
After these four days me
and Libi decided its about time to get out of Rustavi and decided to hitchhike to Telavi. We started near scouthouse but as it was sunday morning everyone went only to the cemetery. Finally we got the first car, later second - and we got sweetees, yummy..and then, after 150 km instead of 70, arrived to Telavi. Nice
town. But as everything in Georgiain this pre-election period they do
reconstructions. So we walked in a city full of mud and workers. In 5 minutes
we were sooo dirty that we only hoped that someone would still take us to his
car. Luckily yes. This driver went to Tbilisi, not Rustavi, so he left us on
the crossroad and told the police that we need to go to Rustavi..and then the
police hitchhiked for us another car, wow :-D So I am ready for my next adventure!
